Hi,
I have a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport and I have been recently having some electrical problems. When I turn on my Jeep sometimes my A/C, blinkers, radio and windshield wipers do not operate. I went ahead and change the fuses and the relay for the AC however this has not corrected the problem.
Does anybody out there have any suggestions?
Please reply,

When this happens, try turning the ignition key gently back and forth a little bit and see if they start working. I would suspect the ignition switch is going bad (the electrical switch not the key/lock part).

I'm with Jeepme at this point. Check the ign switch. Does anything work when you turn the switch to the accessory position?

This is an old post, but I'm having the same problems & have two questions not answered here.
Just recently, all the electricals haas mentions do NOT work while I'm driving (they come on randomly for brief times), but they DO work when key is in accessory position. Also, several months ago the power door locks quit working and the power windows only work at the driver's door (the window lock switch is not engaged).
Question #1: could the ignition switch cause the power door & window problems?
Question #2: it's going in Friday to be fixed; what is a reasonable cost at a non-dealer shop to have the ignition switch replaced?
Thanks.
