2000 GP making creaking noise

My car just suddenly started making a creaking noise about a week ago and it has steadily gotten worse. Whenever I turn the wheel, accelerate, or brake it makes a creaking noise. I had my control arm bushings replaced because I knew they were shot, but that helped for about a day and the noise is back. I read something about motor mounts possibly being a cause of this problem, but that wouldnt cause the car to make noise when I turn the wheel at rest. Any suggestions as to what it could be?

Sounds like the upper strut mount and bushing. Also check the anti-sway (stabilizer) bar link bushings at the control arm and mid-mount bushings.

Silicone lubricant spray works wonders on small suspension creaks. Give a good coat to all the rubber bushings in the suspension and see if that helps.

if you go the lubricant route, do them one at a time to isolate the offending part, but it sounds like an upper strut mount/strut bearing to me too.
