1991 Cavalier - Acceleration problems - misses and lags

Can anyone help? I replaced all sparks and wires (I have no rotor or cap as it has direct coil pack), fuel filter and pumps but still have problems accelerating. If I push gently on gas pedal and do it very slowly I have no problems but people behind me are not that patience. If I step on gas normally it will dog and delay as if it is not getting the gas but I changed pump and filter.



Any ideas? Thanks!

did you check your injectors? i bet they are gunked up

I did put carburetor/injector cleaner in gas but did not help. This model does not have fuel injection. Any other ideas? I check the vacuum lines to EGR but not under and suction - from the manual the lines are emission system, not vacuum, anybody know if they should have suction? Thanks
