my cars throwing a code 17 (vehicle speed sensor) how do i fix it if i can? my speedo works, and its cable driven so i wouldnt think i'd have a speed sensor?

The Vehicle Speed Sensor is located on the instrument cluster circuit board, directly behind the speedometer.

Have you just tried to reset the ECU? If so, then you have a short, or bad connection somewhere, or even a faulty speed sensor.

i just reset it, no CEL yet so its ok so far, will keep an eye on it, worse case scenario, new cluster
