Explorer Intake advice

I've got access to a 5.0 explorer intake, and I'm just starting to build a 1994 GT. I'm on a budget, so the explorer intake looks pretty inviting. I know an explorer GT40 intake performs just as well as a cobra intake, but I have a few questions that need to be answered before I take the plunge. First of all, what kind of problems would I run into when putting this new intake on my sn95? Do I need to modify the EGR setup? Will there be any clearance issues, or is this intake the same height as a cobra? It would be a great help if someone who's done this to their sn95 could answer these questions for me. Thanks.

I pulled and disassmbled an Explorer motor. The intake on a '94 will require you to get an adapter elbow, about 50 bucks on Ebay or the corral classifieds.

You will have to re-invent a vacuum line or two, but that's not that big of a deal. Explorer intakes are worth the money.
