severe smoke

daughter has a 94 gt 2.5 just replaced the clutch went to sart it and distributer was bad (replaced) running and not severely smokes -from exhaust she had over filled the oil changed it ran car for approx. 2 hrs to burn out oil in cylinders but still exsessive smoke also has a knock at front(timing belt location) almost sounds like a lifter but wrong place all this from clutch replacment any ideas or suggestions im tierd of her driving my lincoln

a whiteish grayish but alot off it

sounds like headgasket,when you turn it on does it pour out of the tail pipe? also check the radiator if theres oil floating on the water its for sure the head gasket

no iol in radiator , doent smoke at start upor at idle just when running down the road t/y for replying any otheer ideas would luv to here them hugs to ya

the smoke could be caused by a blown head gasket, like mentioned before, or leak from the valve shafts ( there is a little umbrella seal in there that may be screwed up). You may also need new rings.

Over-filling the oil, then driving it are BAD!! Think of that little crankshaft spinning at anywhere from 700RPM to 6000(yikes)RPM, slapping the oil in the oilpan. It's bad, mmmmkay?
