I read a thread on here once about this mechanics shop in GA that does engine swaps for Grand Ams and such, does anyone know what it is called and/or give me the wed addy. My friend is curious about an engine swap for his Lumina(weird...I know.). But hey...if they can swap a 3.1 for a Supercharged 3.8 for my Grand Prix....that would kick ass too!!! :D

I wonder if its the same shop I read about that does F-Body swaps. When I had my Camaro I was looking to have the 3.8 swapped for an LS1 until I found out the price was around 8-9k. I think that place was in GA.

Do you havea general area in GA taht this shop is supposed to be? I'll do some asking around and see if anyone can find it.

Atlanta, GA. When I first asked, I was looking into slappin a 3800 S/C into my 1993 Grand Am GT Coupe. It would have been sick nasty. It had a 3300 and 4 speed auto....I wanted to see if the 3800 would bolt up to the 5 speed manual of the same year. Alas...Gunpowder had taken too much of a beating and I was already spending too much on repairs. She had 105,000 miles on it when I bought it, with about 184,000 miles on the odo when I had to let her go. Then I got my 2000 Grand Prix instead. I only paid $6,450 @ 94,000 miles. But, I'm kicking myself now for not holding out for a GTP!!lol ;)
