I am new to this forum. I would like know, how many miles will a 1997 mustang run without any major mechanical problem. When buying what should i look for? Thanks

lemme see, my crystal ball says a 97 will last up to 174,328 miles.just kidding, no one can tell you how long it will last. the best thing you can do is ask the previous owner for service records to ensure all the routine maintenance has been pefformed. or you can have it checked out by a trusted mechanic before you purchase.
