Hey all. Haven't posted here before, but I thought it would be interesting to post something I've been working on the past couple of days. This is this semester's final project for a rendering class I'm taking; a full color marker and chalk pastel rendering, to be finished with bits of gouache and Prismacolor pencils. Right now its maybe ah, 65% done. Anyway, this is with all the hard reflections down (with marker), and I'm gonna get to laying down the sky tone with pastels pretty soon. Comments are appreciated!
The image I'm drawing from, my friend's Scion tC after it got washed and waxed.

The drawing. I've gotten it pretty close, but those rims are really kicking my ass:

I use a combination of Prismacolor, Letraset Pantone Tria, and Copic markers, depends on what colors I guess. I used Prismacolor cool greys for most of the reflections, and a bit of Letraset cool greys as well (Letraset cool greys are a tad warmer). The pastels that I'm gonna use are Prismacolor Nupastels, mixed with baby powder and applied with a cotton wipe.

That looks great! Just out of curiosity, is there any way to correct mistakes made with marker, such as if you filled in an area by accident?

Finally finished:

I added the sky reflection with a mixture of pastel and baby powder, added some more contrast to the reflections with a black marker, and then sealed the entire thing with a coat of fixer. It still looks a tad too blue, but that's okay, doesn't look that bad. I just hope I get a good grade when I turn it in.

Hi Striker
I'm just starting to work with markers..
How much time did you spend on this one..?
Not too long actually. I worked on this project on and off for the better part of two weeks, but total time spent I think would be around 6 or 7 hours.
