I Got 1995 3.4 V6 Camaro Wiyh 50,000 Miles On It. I Use It As An Everyday Driver. Except Once In A While I Use My Spare Car. The Question Is , Im Thinking Of Doing The Lt-1 Swap. I Got A Quote Between $2000 And $2500 For Me To Drive It In And Drive It Out Swap Complete. Is There Any One Who Did The Swap, And Will The Car Hold Up For An Everyday Driver. (i Never Had Any Trouble With The Camaro To This Point). Just Wondering After Everything Taken Apart And Put Back Together If It Would Hold Up Like It Was Built With A V8 From The Factory. Is It A Good Investment?
The Parts From The V8 Lt-1 I Would Get Have 54,000 Miles On It.

It depends on how well the person doing the swap does the job. But Lt1's have been known as a good strong engine and should last at least 100,000 miles if not 200,000. With good care that is... Who is doing this swap and how is it so cheap???

A Buddy Of Mine Has An Ls1 Z28 And He Wanted A Ss Hood And Rear Spoiler, He Found A Place About 30 Mile From Pittsburgh /were We Live/ The Like A Camaro And Trans Am Salvage Yard, I Beleive They Can Swaps Often.

Well, if you have a pro do it I would say go for it for that price. But if you are planning on doing it yourself or letting someone inexperienced do it I think it'd be more trouble and more expensive than it's worth.
