Abandoned Lincoln LS

Hi, there is an abandoned Lincoln LS (4 flat tires, dead battery.. etc) in the parking lot of my apartment complex. It has been sitting there for almost a year. The apartment management placed a tow sticker on it 2 days ago. It’s a 02 or 03 LS. The car is in perfect condition!!! I want to put it in my garage, so that it doesn’t get towed and then find out owns it, or if I can acquire it.

My question is, does anyone know how I can get in the car without damaging it?

Thanks in advance...

Even if you could get in, the ignition uses a transponder (pats) key...

Frankly, this kind of request looks shady no matter the posted circumstances. I can't see anyone offering up anything very substantial.

You are asking us how to commit a felony. The car may be stolen or the owner may not be able to take care of it for some reason. THE CAR IS NOT YOURS.

I would stay away from it. Talk to the police or towing company to find out possible options.

Good Grief.
Do not even think about it.
The car might be hot or full of dope or have a dead body in the trunk.
Just call you local PD and have them take care of it.

:uhoh: Who are you thanking? We all gave advice to stay away from it. There may be reasons the car hasn't moved (maybe the owner is out of the country, family emergency, illness, death-n-probate, etc. ... a few ideas). Think about it; if it were my car I'd be hunting for ya! :headshake Ever heard of Grand Theft Auto (no, not the game)?! Your building manager was doing the lawful thing.

I was being sarcastic but, I'm sure you knew that.
