Just have to have a good listen> Have someone stand or ride outside the car to pinpoint. The hub is replaced as an assembly.

Buy a Haynes or Chiltons manual. It will have detailed instructions on how to change it.

I have a 2000 ses and have just recently replaced the Hub.....
you cannot buy just the bearings ....Its an easy job with an expensive part...You have to buy the entire hub...about $90....and it is held in by only 3 bolts......The manuel says to remove the contral arm and all thats attached....but I had trouble removing the control arm because of the
spring......so I just tapped the axel in as far as it would go...(be careful to not hit too hard and damage the cv jount)...I was then able to remove the three bolts and replace the entire hub.....My problem was with the right (passenger side) hub....hopefully the left is as easy.

Drive close along a fence or wall both left and right with the windows down and a "co pilot" to see if the both of you can identify the noisiest side.
