questions about a max

i am interested in buying a maxima in the next couple months. i want one from 1995 to 1997, i think they still have a sporty look but maintain a bit of class. anyway i want to know what kind of problems can i expect like if somebody didnt take care of their car. I just want to know like at around 100,000 miles to expect the automatic transmission to start slipping or something like that. I also heard that they have electrical problems but i figured the only way i could find out by posting in here.

Two main things I have heard are starters on the 95-96s, and check for play where the drive shaft enters the tranny on the 5 speeds. Check out maxima.org and do a search, tons of info on that page...:p

jus take it to ur mechanic or go find one that knows a lot about maximas or jus nissans in general
