The Accorn beats a Chevy 350 V8!!!

it's true, it's true!!! my buddy has a '92 Buick Roadmaster & it has the Chevy 350 & is RWD, be it TBI not TPI/LT-1. he's running 180hp in a 3600lb car & my Accorn has 154hp in it's 3300lb chassis. there is an underpass w/ U-turn outside my work property w/ a 1/4 mile stretch on the frontage road to merge onto the freeway. we lined up, 3rd friend honked 3x, fair launch on both of us. 1st & 2nd gear we are dead even, but i shift into 3rd sooner so i slowly pull, really a crawl, after 32 minutes & 24 secs of accelerating upto 62mph/100kmPH.

we made a lap around cuz other challenges awaited, like Accorn vs '99 Grand Am 2.4L AUTO - on that race the Pontiac pulls away, he's walking me after 2nd gear/30mph. my '95 Civic EX AUTO friend challenged a '92 Toyota 4x4 3.0L V6-5spd coworker. the Civic walks away after 40mph, the wager was loser was gonna have sticker put on car - Civic will get "4X4" decal on hood or truck will get "Powered by VTEC"in AZN letters on tailgate for a week.

i was just reading your signature......that's pretty risky what you're doing w/ your cai.....wat area do you live around?....that sucks that you don't have a bypass valve.....i'd be scared to drive around like that...hopefully it doesn't rain...especially if you live in californai......some weird ass weather lately....better be careful....haha....rains one day and it's like 89 degrees the next.....weeiird....:bloated:
