Battery Light!!!!

We were leaving a friends we hit a bump and our battery light came on and we lost most of our power. The car died we were able to jump it to get it started to get home. Everybody thinks the alternator is out is it possible somthing came unpluged or is it the alternator?

I'd be looking for a loose connector somewhere, battery terminals or on the alternator. Also check the belt out.

Have your battery tested, I suspect that you've jarred a plate loose :2cents: make sure you bounce it around while on the tester
