Been looking around the forum today... been noticing regular patterns...
I've decided... we should change the name of the forum from Jetta/Vento/Bora to
Ask Doug Tatham.
We have the questions, he has the answers...
c'mon down, and ask Doug!
lol. haha.
Yea, yea. Corny, maybe.
Just wondering, what's your experience Doug? I sure appreciate all your help.

To tell the truth I'm a chemist. I do have a engineering background from the Navy and have been doing my own automotive work for the last 25 years or so. I bought a 91 jetta 6 years ago and couldn't help but to love the talent that went into it's engineering. Since then I've built a Diesel and a gas 1.8 from the ground up.
I have to yield to Boschmann, he's definately the king.

Wow.
That's impressive.
I, however, just use the internet to learn everything I know, lol.
