if I put a 421 header on my stock d15b, will it make a difference in the sound of my car? kinda like an intake does, i have no exhaust mods either. thanks

might sound jsut a tad deeper but thats about it...header only makes exhaust sounds deeper about it...wont hear none that buzzing shit that ricers believe in...lol

With something like a header or exhaust, you notice the most benefits from doing the whole thing, intake, header, exhaust... Together they all help to allow the engine to flow alot better... Not to say u wont notice anything with one or the other... But the combo of all make it that much more noticable... On a stock D15B (unless its the JDM D15B VTEC), u wont notice much... And with the money it would cost to buy all those parts, it would be much more worthwhile to just swap the engine...
As for sound, the most noticable sound was my intake... And then when I got my mid pipe replaced (custom 2.25" pipe from my cat to my axle back)...

alright, thanks for the comments, im trying to save for a b18b but with college its kinda hard, but i just wanted something to give my stock motor a lil bit of sound, i got an intake, it makes a little difference, and i was just going to get one of those headers off ebay, just to play with while im saving the money. another thing.. i have a stock mr2 turbo that was given to me, do you think i could make it work for the b18 once i got it, or is it cooled different or something. thanks
