i have a 1990 toyota camry 4 cylinder 2wd it has 118,000 miles i was thinking about flushing the trans well not the whole thing just what would come out when a dropped the pan. it hasn't been flushed since probaly it had 60-70,000 miles. I was jus wondering if i should do it becasue i know sometimes cleaning it. if its bad just makes it worse. Any comments would be appreciated

No, it's a big misconception. Cleaning is good. Flush it then drain the pan with every oil change. You'll never have a problem with it.
You can also pickup some 3/8" fuel/oil hose, some hose clamps & find a sued (but good & clean) oil / transmission cooler. Install that after the stock one & you can rest assured of a long transmission life.

You can always drain the pan, refill and drive around for a few minutes and repeat this for about 5 or more times. It will not get all of the fluid changed but you will get most. I think I did my 95 about 10 times one saturday when I had some free time to kill. I have 195K on it now and it still runs fine.
