wiring for clock on 86 pickup

i recently bought a factory clock on e bay for my pick up(mine didn't come with one, it had the delete plate) only to find that wiring for it is apparently not there. as this was a luxury option and could be ordered, it would seem silly that my truck isn't wired for it at all- is there a hidden wiring harness? or am i going to have to wire it myself? just wondering if anyone out there knows. thanks
