Me vs 280zx

hey this guy here in my town wants to race my SL with his '87 280zx. I have striaght pipe exaust, downpipe, short ram intake, and minor ignition mods, nothing too big. Buuut his has ported intake and ported heads, everything else is stock. both our cars are standard, what r my chances to win, thanks.

Is the 280 a turbo model?

IDK man, those 280's were pretty darn light, but I think they had maybe 180HP turbo'd???? IDK man, if you want the race to be more in your favor take him from a roll, since you have the FWD advantage... either way though it sounds like your mods will net you the win

itsa non-turbo, idk if he can beat me but ill give it a try when i talk to him, wish me luck, peeeace.
