Should i pick this camaro up?

Alright, I have recently been looking for a project car and narrowed it down to a cobra mustang and droppnig in a 351, or a camaro with a 350
Well, my friend decided to sell his 85 iroc w/ a newer 350 TPI.
Specs:
1985 camaro z28 with Iroc package
350 TPI (65k on motor and tranny)
New underdrive pulleys (i believe thats what their called)
hooker headers
flowmaster series 40 exhaust
victor-x manifold(i believe)
b&m shifter
4.11 gears
set of 3.55 gears

the car does need a paintjob, it has been wrecked in the front driverside but everything has been rebuilt on it

the interior is somewhat missing, he took the backseat out and cut the carpeting out from front seats back

He is asking 3000 for it

I was thinking of getting the car, getting it painted, and throwing racing seats and a cage in it since that is what i was planning for a project car anyways

Is this a good deal?

honestly, i would do it.. if i had a chance to get my hands on an IROC for 3 grand in that good of shape, with a 350 and some upgrades, i wouldnt pass it up.

well, even with a little body damage, so long as the subframe is strait, it sounds like a helluva deal. i paid 2300 for my IROC with a 350, and have been pumping money into it ever since. for 3000 with a solid body, a new engine, and other mods including exhaust, it sounds like a good buy.

Cant get my rents to cosign a loan for me, so i guess im gonna have to hope he has it this spring still
