Where is your fuel filter in a 98 eclipse located at, and is it a hard spot to get to?

it depends is you car a gs, rs, gs-t or gsx?.
In the 2g (95-99) gs-t, gsx, tsi the fuel filter is located under the batery. In the 98 rs, gs, esi is located under the car, next to the rear wheel (close to the fuel tank) passenger side.
Anyways, do a research and you will find that this questions was answered many times.
