ABS Recall When??

I bought my GM certified 2001 SIlverado from Chevrolet in mid august this year. They fixed the tailgate recall and everything else, but when did the ABS recall come out? should I take it in??

You could just call the Chevy dealer Service department and have them run your VIN #, and see if your truck is one of the ones being recalled.

You can put your vehicle info in and it will send you reminders on service schedules and also email you with any recalls for you specific truck.You can also keep track of any service you have done on your truck.

There a tailgate recall? what is it for? the cabels? And where do i find out if it is for my truck?

yes it is for the cables. if you enter all your info including VIN number it will list all recalss for your vehicle.When I entered my 2001 ex cab there were 2 one for the tire info decal on the door and one for the cables that hold the tailgate.
