90-94 Metro/Swift inside door handles have a reputation for breaking easily, I'm told. So far I couldn't find a driver-side inside handle at local junkyards. GM and Suzuki dealer prices are high--especially relative to the purchase price of my 94 XFI last year. Could handles from another small car be substituted with or without modification??

In the Milwaukee area, there are many Pick 'n Save food stores, but only two Pick 'n Pull salvage yards. Short on time, I haven't been able to get to the self-service yards some distance from my downtown location. But hopefully, someone like myself or another Metro/Suzuki
owner may sometime get the time to walk thru a junkyard with a broken Metro interior door handle. Should be possible to find a handle that could easily be adapted, considering the 100's of vehicles made. And possible adaptations could in the future help out other 92 to 94 Metro owners if their handles break.

I have a 92 Metro ragtop that I'm parting out. The inner door handles are intact in case you are interested.
