Well on my truck it was pretty simple. I got it up on the rack and just greased anything with a fitting on it. I think roughly 11 places. It was easy with the truck in the air to hit all of the places. Do a search because someone posted a picture a while back showing the places to grease.
Do not over grease them though because you will bust the boot. On mine it took one pump of a normal grease gun and a little grease came out and I stopped.
took all of 15 minutes to do all of them.

go to autozone and buy a grease gun and a tube of grease (prob about $12). The gun will have a special fitting on the tip that fits over the grease fittings (zirc fittings) on your front end.
Way too easy not to do it.
and don't over fill and don't break the zirc fittings.
you'll be able to see the rubber boot expand as it fills with grease. Usually I do 3 squirts on each fitting ...
you may not even need to jack up the front end to do it. Although, If you have 4wd, you may need to pull the tire to get to the (I think it is) the upper ball joints ???
