sup guys...aright now, my friend who is stayin in the Cayman Islands to study recently put a deposit down for a 1994 Honda Accord. He is not much of a car fanatic as some of you might be but i have a feeling he has a SPECIAL Accord on his hands. He talked to me not too long ago and when i asked him what trim it was, he didnt know. I actually think it might be a 1994 Honda Accord SiR. Even though its not my car, im getting a little excited here..lol. Here's a link for you guys to judge for yourself and verify if it is actually an SiR and if he is gettin a kick ass deal. By the way, he is gonna be getting it for 6000US.

Dammit, your link froze my browser. Couldn't view it.The Caymans are a major source of numerous types of fraud and shady buisness practices. I'd be careful. Does he plan to try to import it back to the US?It may not be emissions compliant, is why I ask. He might find it has to stay there. There must be a way to run the VIN and production codes on it and see what it really is.

sorry about the freeze..now just by reading what you said, i will tell him to try and find out the vehicles history. I wouldn't like to see my friend get gipped over a car becuz thats the last thing he need to worry about. and by the way, i dont think he will get the car shipped back to canada.

jeffcoslacker you obviously dont know what you are talking about...i live here and we do get japanese cars for far cheaper than the usa...and in much better condition also...if you cant tell what model the car is...its your own fault for not knowing the difference in trim models...and also most places here dont rip people off with automobile sales unlike the higher number of cases reported in some regions of the usa...(not being stereotypical..but factual.) It would be freekin stupid for someone to rip u off down here because it would result in a bad reputation and the dealer would instantly go out of business...its common sense...this is a small country...there is less room for that form of crime...everyone down here knows auto businesses by their name and reputation...:nono:
and the price does sound normal for such a car...i got my dc2 for 4500+2000 import fees + shipping..about 3000 cheaper than any similar dc2 in the usa...its normal...i suggest finding out from someone local here what they know about the dealer..

sonic, you just made 3 mistakes
1) please don't open threads that are over a month old unless there is something you feel is absolutely relevant and factual to add. And even then, its probably better to start a new thread
2) jeffcoslacker knows his stuff and simply voiced an opinion which is perfectly acceptable to have on AF no matter who agrees with it.
3) You too are allowed to have an opinion, but the way you present it is what's important.

Thanks and welcome to AF
