I wouldn't try to build up your pecs. Only do incline presses and no decline. At least that might build up the top of your chest and even the mess out. How big of a problem is this. errr, what's your cup size?

Sorry if I was mean. It wasn't intentional, just instinctive. The chest and abs just take time to lose off of. keep working on your cardio and eat right and I think that your mammo's will disapear eventually. Dunno though. I know that there is surgery for this problem. Don't ever recommend surgery unless it is for your health though. You are better off just getting used to the way you look.

i don't need any help with my pecs or my abs. i have a 6 pac and well defined pecs. i work out 3 days a week (run 2 miles on tuesdays and fridays and go to the weight room on thursdays) but it's just this spot that wont go away no matter how many pushups i do or how many pounds i can bench.

That's not alot of cardio. Try to do cardio on days you are lifting also. And do like an hour of it. 2 miles of running may be difficult, but you would be better off riding a bike(indoor or out) for an hour at a reasonable pace one of the days and an eliptical trainer for the one of the other workouts. This assumes that you have access to the machines. How long does it take you to run the two miles??? If you are covering the distance quickly, you are not giving your body a chance to really burn the fat that you are trying to get rid of on your chest.

i do all my working out in physical fitness class so i have to do it real quick so i usually take about 30 to 40 mins to run the miles and i have no access to machines, i can only use barbells and dumbells in the school weight room.

join wrestling... it just started

????

wrestling requires some of the best stamina, and idk about ur school's program but most of them work on conditioning a lot... not to mention it helps you in fights

just an idea...

is the "fat" fat or skin? there is a difference..

if the skin is stretched and isnt shrinking from when you were "fat" sergury might be required to get the look you want

I'm not a doctor but learning about medecine is a hobby of mine. I suscribe to Mayo Clinic and in one article I remember reading about a medical condition in men in which they have enlarged breasts. I'll check with a doctor about this if I were you.

30 to 40 minutes for the whole period. changing, stretching, working out, cool down and change back into your normal clothes.

how long does it actually take you to run the two miles, not counting changing....sorry taking off and putting on clothes doesnt count as cardio

if its skin then you might want to try one of those steam room thinggys (my mind went blank i cant remember what they are called) i had a friend who worked in a paper mill and was around vents most of the day and he had a lot of extra skin and it seemed to shrink it up a little bit. This is completely anecdotal so dont take it to heart.

every guy who has some excess body fat usually retains it in their gut, and in their chest. for women its a little different, its usually in their ass and hips :lol2: so yeah. i am not saying im a skinny bastard because i know what your talking about, i have some chest fat too. what i have been doing for the past week is running 2 miles a day doing 4 sets of 20 pushups, and just watching what i eat, i have already noticed my face has thinned out a little bit. if i was you and you are skinny (10% body fat or so) and you still have excess fat in your chest area, there are 2 things you can do. one is learn to deal with it. and two is see a doctor if it bothers you. the disease is called gynecomastia, it can be treated by going under the knife. hope this helped.

well you cant spot reduce fat.
do more cardio and stop working the muscle in your chest for a while.
if you increase the muscle size in your chest and you still have man boobs your man boobs will get larger because it's sitting ontop of the muscle

usually you burn the fat were you last placed it. so probally your chest was the first place to put the fat. i have a little fat there too and the only way your gunna lose em is cardio. i see alot of improvement so just do the cardio!!

and i assume that i get more than you:lol2:. the ladies don't really care if i have man tits since i have more muscle than fat on my chest i started this thread cos i have problems with it, if you spent as long as i did to work out you won't like to have one imperfection to mess the whole thing up

Back on subject....
you can work your abbs every day and you might have a nice six pack. Problem is that it is covered by fat. In order to start seeing any decent definition at all you have to have your body fat % under 10. The lower you go the better you see them. As far as getting the look that you see in the muscle mags you, those guys are all under 5% which is extremly hard to achive. So don't get upset if you don't look like them.
