you know me, i'm all about saving cars lives. remember the 97 we bought almost 2 yrs ago? that car was headed for the scrapper....with only 78,000. we finally got it back together and we just took it on a 2500mi road trip to SEMA...the car ran like a dream. i can't believe it was almost sent to it's death

cams are there...they took the cam gears, which is in theory even dumber.

the story is a little fuzzy, sometime after it made it here but before the previous owner it was a theft recovery. the front end was stolen. the guy before me picked up USDM front end parts to try and get it back on the road quicker. i plan to pull it all off and put back on what belngs :naughty:

it is 4 lug. no VIN swap. no engine either. it looks like i'm going to have to go through all the EPA & DOT with the car. but it's okay, i'm prettry sure the previous owner found it out and thats why he let it go...and let it go cheap.

we picked the 96 RHD on saturday and took off for cali on sun. we picked the 01 up yesterday and got home last night. it was a big ordeal getting the '01. 880 miles total distance traveled to pick them both up. I'M TIRED!!! i'll post more pics and info after a rest.

...big props to GTA, the 01 wouldn't have made it home without his 2 stockies!!!
