My distributor has been replaced three times in the past two weeks. It will go bad after a week or so and then turn off on me while I am driving, then I will replace the distributor with a brand new and it will work again. Anyone know why the distributor keeps going bad, could it be a electriacal problem? Or could it be because my car stereo was not installed properly. Help someone please :banghead: :banghead:

Do you have one of those e-bay chips or timing advanced really bad? I had my timing advanced and a ebay "mugen" chip which advances the timing more. I blew dizzys like crazy. Went back to a stock mapped chip and it worked fine.

its probably his control module,I've had 3 in a row go out on me,until I bought one from advanced for $100.00,
when the ignition coil goes out,it usally lets you have another start or so,at least everyone that went out on me did,
plus when its the control module the car boggs down until it dies,
every ignition coil thats went bad on me,I ended up shutting the car off first, then it wouldn't let me start it back up.
