`Distributor cap` questions and comments

Hey guys,

I have a few thoughts on different types of distributor caps. Does paying the 'few extra dollars' for a high-performance cap really make a difference? I find myself replacing this thing every year. Would spending the extra loot pro-long the life by chance?

Unfortunetly quality cost money, so yes the more expensive caps tend to last longer.
