Fault Codes

Can anyone give me the descriptions for the following fault codes it is for a 1.6i polo 8v with a Bosch motronic MP9 fuel injection

00524
03840
00519

the 00524 and 00519 faults are sporadic but I need to find out what these things mean because my car really has a big power loss problem

Hi found the answers to the codes if any body needs them there was a few extra on the last scan

0524 Knock Sensor 1-G61 Open/Short circuit to ground

00530 Throt. positioner/potentiometer-G88 Open/Short circuit to positive

00518 Throttle valve potentiometer-G69 Open/Short circuit to positive

Fault Source : 03840 /references signal to great

00519 Intake Manifold pressure sender-G71 Open/Short circuit to positive

Sounds Like i would start checking grounds seeing how most of the stuff is showing too high voltage. Check chassis ground & check also the grounds to the computer mainly.
