Hi all!

A friend of mine has a Prelude 97 and has been offered a set of Apex lowering spring 1.7". Is Apex a good company to go for the springs or maybe he should wait for better quality springs?

And I also heard that messing with Prelude suspension wasn't that good because of his already good tuning? True or false?

Horn out.

apexi is a quality name brand, but as far as springs are concerned, i think there are better. like neuspeed or h&r.

yeah the prelude's suspension is already pretty well tuned in stock form but nothing wrong with upgrading it.

apex and apexi are not the same company...

apex is a high quality european spring manufacturer, we all know who apexi is...

the apex springs are really nice, and alot of highly tuned vw's over in europe use them, as well as a lot of other cars on the continent...

mess with it... the suspension is kinda soft compared to what you could have .... there is always some slop dialed in so people don't complain that its too harsh...
