wheel noise

i hear a noise, kind of a poping, from my left front wheel when turning hard left at parking lot speed, otherwise seems ok. could the wheel bearing make this noise when the wheel is turned hard left and be ok otherwise?
2000, 2WD with 65K miles

Could be a wheel bearing, but it also could be something else in your front end. Tie rod, Control Arm bushing, Ball joint.
