Hello all! My fiancee has a 1995 Lumina 3.1 (M code it says) and it has the classic signs of the TCC shutter. I was looking though and found that I could take the fuse out for the TCC to see if it was actually it. I read in the owners manual that the fuse for the TCC is in the fuse box under the hood. When I checked the box under the hood, there was no fuse there for it. It says its for fog lights or something like that. Anyone have any ideas or can anyone tell me exactally where the electrical connector is for the tcc to i can try to disconnect it there. Thanks.

No fuse for the tcc this is pcm controlled, it is easy to confuse an engine buck or misfire that only occurs under load when the tcc is engaged, for an actual tcc problem. Further diagnosis is required, a scan with a full trans scanner can determine if the tcc is slipping.

The older ones had a dedicated fuse for the TCC in the interior fusebox on the passenger's side of the dash, but I never looked in my '97's fusebox.

pull the wire on the transmission, that's the simplelest way to do it... Its on the right side of the car on the transmission itself underneath the airbox.
