Although I'm sure that Mickbench's culprit has 4 legs and apparently resembles a Collie. Maybe Styrenus consumptiverus Canine is a mutant version? :)

Yeah, that beautiful Collie ate my wheels that mickbench was gona give me! Oh well,... Dogs will be dogs and we gotta love them! Otherwise they wouldn't be dogs. If that makes sense!!

My problem with loosing model parts is caninerus hungrynus modelinus shorter name rough collie, even shorter name of Tia.

Tia’s look something like this –

And can be found lurking around kitchens and dining rooms waiting for the opportune moment when all is clear for them to then pounce and destroy all they can. No box is impregnable, no bin is secure and no model is safe when the “Tia” goes on the warpath. Tia’s are also able to empty out fruit bowls; leaving not a shred of evidence that they were there, the stealth of a “Tia” is amazing.

They do all this in complete secrecy, leaving humans knowing it was a “Tia” yet never to be “caught” in the act to allow suitable punishment from said humans. It is said a “Tia” can smell plastic from a hundred yards, preferring the taste of Tamiya and not revell, and it is rumoured that a “Tia” will only attack when humans are at work, leaving the trail of chewed up plastic and ripped up boxes in their wake.

And surprisingly a “Tia” will live until they are around 15 years old and display majestic looks, and astonish many humans, even winning best of breed and yet the real story of a “Tia” is that they simply live to destroy models of all types, and do prefer the taste of Tamiya plastic.

Some say a “Tia” can display great intelligence and have diligence, showing much affection even though they have wrecked moulded plastics and will eat a humans weekly fruit allowance. In return for a “Tia’s” loyalty, appearance and companionship any wrecking of such plastics is to be overlooked, and “Tia’s” then expect a healthy balanced diet of meaty chunks mixed with a dry type of biscuit, normally produced in the heartlands of England Melton, with a label attached on the packet entitled Pedigree Chum.

To all those who plan on capturing and owning a “Tia” there comes a warning. Wild model wreckers cannot be easily tamed.

Ever notice how making new replacement usually results in finding the original part?
But you have to really be making a replacement, not just a quick cheap facsimile. Only occasionally have I been able to fool them with a decoy (less detailed part under construction) and serious concentration.
Due to this fact, I believe the styrenenus creatures are also psychic.
