I love the smell of winter air. You could be blind, deaf, retarted, and have no feeling in your nerves, and still be able to smell the holiday season. The feeling of giving the pefect gift is great, but even better is when you get that perfect present (like a new car). CAN'T WAIT!!!

I like the holidays...but it snows here then, and I HATE snow. So it all pretty much evens itself out to any normal time of the year for me.

i love the holidays. especially now, most of my cousins and family don't really get together all that much anymore. i'm a very family oriented guy and when we all get together it is way TOO much fun. we bust out tequila and just have a fun time. something about family makes it that much better. i love the holidays.

Fuck winter...i mean i love snow and everything but seriously people cannot drive in the shit to save their lives. I live in MN and we got our first actual snowfall today after about 4 hours of sprinkling rain. No more than 3 hours after it started to actually snow some guy almost t-bones me by running a stop sign. Then of course i get the finger and the horn, uh HELLO did you see the guy next to you STOPPING and the other 4 cars STOPPED at the signs?
But I LOVE winter, i cant wait to go snowboarding and snowmobiling.

I'm tired of the commercialization of Christmas, so no, I'm not that excited.

Wagga Wagga, largest inland Australian city! You may not have beaches, but you've got the dog that sat on the tucker box, 5 miles from Gundegai! :)
Holidays = family time. I think we should go with 12 thirty day months, and have a 5 day (6 in leap year) holiday period in between Dec and Jan. Celebrate how you like.

i am excited for the holdays for the following reasons:
1) my birthday. (december 20th)
2) snowboarding.
3) giving and getting great presents.
4) time off school.
5) new years.
6) seeing family and friends.
i am NOT excited for the holidays for the following reasons:
1) COLD!
2) hearing the same god-damn christmas songs over and over and over (working in a mall makes it that much worse)
3) emptying out my bank account.
4) a) working so many hours, b) dealing with grumpy/rude customers (happens year-round, but the christmas rush seems to make them that much ruder)
so there-fore, i've got more to look forward to then not. i'm pretty stoked for this years, because my aunt, uncle and 2 cousins are coming over from Japan. it'll be the first time i've ever met my one cousin, and the rest of them i haven't seen in about 3 years. also last year just didn't feel like christmas for whatever reason...i wasn't home when my family decided to decorate the tree, we didn't decorate any of the rest of the house or put up exterior lights...and i guess the whole thing just came and went way too fast. when i woke up christmas morning, it just felt like any other day until we started opening presents and stuff. this year i hope i can psych myself up enough about it that it actually FEELS like christmas.
i can't wait!

Im stoked for christmas. My parents and sister are coming to saskatoon for a week, i didnt get to see them last year so itll be a blast. and mumsie's delicious cooking for wigilia. i have a new boyfriend whos birthday is a couple days before christmas and he'll be home for the holidays, so im stoked to spend a shitload of time with him, he rocks. im planning a huge bash in my tiny apartment for new years and ill get trashed and have a blast. i also work in an electronics store, on commission, and since my finals are done the 15th, i get to work for 9 days straight making about 400 bucks a day so i get shitloads of money. and then im hoping to go to banff or jasper (or maybe to bc for the rockies) soon after christmas for some well deserved boarding with the boyfriend.
SOOOO stoked for christmas and the holidays. like, you have NO idea :D

It doesn't even feel like it to me yet. By next week, I hope I'm excited. I don't have any money though, so it's going to suck not having that much to give out.
On the bright side, winter is the busy season at Skydive DeLand, and we all know what that means....
HOT foreign guys!! Haha
I did buy all those old Christmas cartoon movies the other day, as soon as I watch them I'll have the holiday spirit.
