I'm getting into painting and saw two guns offered at www.freepaintguns.com (http://www.freepaintguns.com/ref207), and wondered if anyone knew which was a better brand. I have heard Sharpe and Devilbiss are good brands, but don't know anyone who has used one.

Personally, for doing top coat I use the Devilbliss 670 plus. It has 3 fluid tips that can be changed without changing the needle, which allows you to fine tune between colors, metallics, and clear quickly.
However, the Sharp Colbalt, I find it to be a reliable work horse for the full body primer. (Comes available in two versions, finish coat and primer, go with the primer). No one spray gun can do the job correctly, you want to switch off and on between the two. After being in the restoration business for over 30 years, I find this combination not only economical, but up to performance and standards of a national level.
This is the best tip I can give on top spray guns. :smokin:
