99 Cavalier hard starting

I'm so frustrated with this problem. My car does not like to start for me. Sometimes it doesn't crank over. It takes a few times to finally turn over. A few weeks ago my engine light came on, so I took it in to have it hooked up and it said that it was my crankshaft sensor. So I changed it. Cleared the light. Today while I was struggling to get it started, the light came back on. And it is only getting worse. Could this be my starter? If not, what? HELP!!!!!!!

if your engine is turning then the starter is fine... do the obvious replacments first.. spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter... little cheap stuff and in the end its always good to have em replaced even if it aint the problem
