I'm taking my 2002 Dodge Durango in for repair.
There is a clicking noise coming from the right front portion of the vehicle. It clicks when I begin acceleration and then stops when the vehicle reaches approx. 20 MPH. The clicking noise does not occur again until I restart the engine and the clicking starts all over again.
This noise reminds me of a card pinned to the spokes of my bicycle!
I have noticed some pulling to the left (alignment problems?), and gear engagement is sluggish.
I hope this does not pose a costly repair.

The clicking noise could possibly be a cv axle but it would only do it when u go around turns...does it vibrate any at all? any other clunks? need more info. Pulling to the left...does it do this when u hit your brakes or when u are just driving? could be just out of alignment. and i assume u have the 4.7 in your ride, the clicking could most definately not be valves...ur truck has a SOHC configuration with hydraulic roller rockers/followers....so rule that one out, but give some more details and i could possibly help you out on this one

There is a little relay mounted to the firewall with a rubber mount. I had that little clicking noise like the one you descibed. I was under warranty so I went to the dealer. The guy told me to open the hood, pulled out the rubber mount from the firewall, secured with a plastic tie instead and the noise was gone. Hope it will work for you
