06' Mustang GT

Blah- a new model release.. JUST when I thought I was gonna finish that civic..

anyways heres the info

Paint is Plastikote primer (First time using it, I LOVE this primer now) base is PPG Pacific Green airbrushed ( An OEM Ford color, the stock color of my 1:1) and a coat of Model Masters Ultra Gloss (settled down in the last few pics, Need to polish it)

Not sure on the wheels (I think theyre Andrew Golt-dish or something like that)...

That's a good idea to keep the flocking in the P and S shakers. Mustang looks hottt!!! Love the green on it. Keep up the awsome progress Josh!

I added a seatbelt and door lock to the door panel (can't see it in these pics) that's the color combo I'm going with for the interior (it's only aout 50% done).

Looking sharp.Nope. Plastikote layed/reacted fine. I figured I'd try it since that's all I had anyways.

thanks for the kind words guys, The paint is laying out perfect and is drying up. should be able to start polishing next week..

I need to get more air for my airbrush so I can get another coat of light coat of paint and more clear on it.

No more progress yet... too busy on socom 3 :lol:

man, this is by far one of the best models i've ever seen (aside from the airbrush graphics that have been done)...i love the colour, i really like the interior to...great color selection...what are u plans for the engine? any special colors or jsut keepin it simple?

well.. i got a little more done.. I decided the wheels I was going to use didn't really fit very well so I reverted back to stock wheels. I will paint them silver however.

Yea...we need a new set of wheels for this pony. Revell is major suckage lately. Keep up the awsome work Josh!

If I can find a new set of wheels that fit this car right, I will use them.. the wheels I was going to use are going on a different project.

Ya, I must say that the rims coming with the Revell kits have been horrible lately...Although I must say that the Esclade I just picked up has some awsome rims with it

the mustangs now Supercharged thanks to the Lightning plenium and supercharger, the intake it still a WIP and will probably be changed.
