Evo VIII into a Talon TSI???

I have been offered a Evo VIII Engine with a direct port nitrous system, ssqv, ported 20g turbo, Super afc from apexi, and some other cool stuff for my 96 Talon TSI FWD. I asked the question if it was possible to put this engine in my car. He replied with a yes but I'm not sure if I can believe him. That's why I came here. I'm hoping that someone out there can answer that question wqith some kind of proof. PLEASE HELP!!! I desperately need an 4g63t engine for my car so i can get back and forth between college and work. thanks for weeding my post. Hope to hear from you soon.

evo8 engines are backwards to ours, you might be able to do it but it would take a lot of work and money and did i say work?

Yeah dude, everythings backwards from our cars and it wouldnt be an easy swap. Have you checked any salvage yards or eBay for a DSM 4g63? I think a direct replacement would be your best bet.

Not to mention that the cost of that setup is probably equal to if not worth more than the car itself. Just go with a DSM 4g63.

It'd be cool to see one though. I'll do it when i win the millions ;)

Well if it's FWD You're going to need the entire drivetrain as well as 80000 other parts. Not gonna happen. Here's a non-evo car with an evo engine in it if your curious.

It's a shame they don't have te pics of it when it's done, it looks so awsome, I saw it about a month ago. I'd say it's probably damn near impossible, besides this guy had all the resources of AMS.

that engine is going for $1,125 on ebay right now.

Sorry about the misspelling on my original post. I wasn't really paying attention. Well than, not only do I feel stupid for asking the question, but this guy was on ebay telling people that it could easily be done. That is a true idiot. Well, does anyone out there want to purchase a 1g 4g63t? I got this engine by accident thanks to a tuning shop In New York. They did a top end rebuild on it as retuned the turbo. Let me know if anybody is interested.
