Will my a6 alternator work on my new d15b vtec motor?

Hard to tell. First find out what alternator goes with your Vtec engine. If the a6 alternator is not one of them, then no.

shut up.
if you are running it obd0, then yes it will work, but you'll probably have to cut a leg off and notch it out.

the pulleys might be different(different # of ribs); but if it is different you can just swap in the d15b-vtec pulley in there, or if you dont have an alternator for it at all get a z6 pulley.
