Dash light not bright enough, need brighter one

The main instrument light that is on the dimmer switch is a sylvania 2825 light. It is not bright enough. Does anyone know of a brighter replacement that would fit into this socket? The dimmer does work, but could the dimmer just have a low output?

Heheh. I thought i cleaned everything. You mean dusty by teh light, or that the dimmer is corroded?
