Well not very original, but I started this kit 2 weeks ago right after I received my order from David ! It's my first since I stopped building for the summer, so I try to get my hands back to work on this kit.

Stunning interior. Which crew use the blue helmets? Solberg and Mills have custom painted lids (at least they used to), don't know about Sarrazin.

It look good, but it's not accurate :D

I do it the way I like it, that's all :D Helmets shouldn't even be there.

The real car has 4-lug wheels, the kit rims are accurate, SWRT made the change from 5-lug when they switched from OZ wheels to BBS. The large centre is just a dust cap.

Testor 18xx. It's a safe bet for the decals. never get a reaction with that, but it yellow a bit over time. On a mica base like the Subaru, it won't show, but I would avoid using this clear with Silver or white color.

That looks really nice..

I too take care when clearing decals.. I'd never use TS-13, I use X22 Acrylic clear.. works for me..

Anyhow, nice model and a nice comeback.. I hope I don't forget all I've learnt this year as I'm on a break, but will make a fresh start in a few months.. Hope I can turn out someting as good as this when I start again..
