1991 mazda jerkey

i have a 1991 mazda 2200 with a carb. it will start and run fine it the moringwhen it is sitting but when you start to drive and put it under load it will buck and kick when you excellerate but ok when you level off.it will do this untill the temp gauge starts to climb then it is ok not perfect but bearable.i have no books on this carb so any help would be nice. where could i get information on thic cab on how it works and brake down. thanks jrhogg
