remove AC 305

Does anyone know if I can buy an idler pulley to put in place of the AC compressor? 1988 GMC 305. If so where.

Hi,
Looking at the belt routing for my truck, I see a shorter belt for the non-AC truck and when I bought a pulley to replace the noisy one, there is one listed with the grooves instead of smooth.
Do some research at the parts counter.

If you have a serpentine belt, then just go to a local auto parts store and get a belt for a truck without A/C and just bypass the area where the compressor used to be.
