So what do you think of AF's new setup?

I like it. Really subtle changes, but the place looks a lot cleaner and well spaced. :thumbsup:

I like it too - hard to figure out every little thing that's changed, but it does indeed look much cleaner :thumbsup:

Gosh, I leave AF for a few days and everything changes!!!

Not really... changes are okay... nothing for me to get excited about though.

Don't really like the space in between the posts. The rest of it is alright though.

its very modern looking. havnt decided if i really like it it yet but its not horrible.

Just because we have different colours on our money, different alcohol levels in our beer, different colours in our sky, different colours in our water, different medical care system, different gun laws, different ways to resolve our problems .... WAIT .... your right !!!!

So far it hurts my eyes to look at the posts, but i'll get used to it.

i don't like it very much.

~ all the empty space makes it look as if its lacking something

~ the thread post date being up in the top left and in yellow will make it even harder for noobs to realize how old a thread is
~ the new buttons under each post instead of simple words make it look very unprofessional
~ way too much empty space under avatars
~ also where did the gallery for each person go? used to have a link where all the buttons are now.

I've spent the past few days changin' my comp so it looks a lot sleeker and darker. this is too, not actually childish, but with the bigger bars and all. meh...

i thought i was having computer problems the first time AF loaded but then i realized...it got changed! i don't like the new colours or big spaces but yeah, it's here to stay so we might as well embrace it, it's still the same AF

I think they're actually still working on it, I noticed in the index that the columns are off, the "Most recent post" column has a dark gray area, and the "Rating" column has the name of the most recent poster.

There's also another thread commenting on it, Igor came in and advised there are some "issues"....just a matter of time till things get straightened out.

Whats up with that is they probably want to work on the layout without needing to shut down the site(no acces). Thats if they're even still working on it.

I don't like it...just when i think I'm at the end of the thread/page, a new post is there...kind of annoying...I'm not a big fan of the spacyness

One problem i've noticed is when I clikc on the "Go To First Unread" it brings me back to the page where it lists all the car forums.

The post count is all by itself and not crammed between the last visited and online/offline status, so it is actually easier to read our information when we post. But it does seem more clean and not so crammed with stuff.

I don't really care for it. I can't read a thread unless it has more than 1 page. I keep getting a 404 error when I click on the title. To be truthfully honest, IT PISSES ME OFF!!!

i noticed the change yestrday, there was a funny box at the bottom of the page listing post info or something(wierd) its gone today though.

this just seems the same as some of those other forums out there, not just auto forums. I do notice that alot of avitars and sigs arent working(showing up). mine didnt yestrday, but I went to my user cp and updated stuff and mine works now. more strange than a purple monkey. LOll!

In time we'll all grow to like it. :)
