different speedo gears

red[/COLOR] i am new on here.i have a problem with my 700r4 tranny in my 1991 firebird 305. i swapped trannies with another but the speedo gears arent the same mine had plastic gear on back shaft with a gear driven speedo.the one i put in has a metal one on it with a electric one with no gear. can i change these gears out if so haw to get the metal one off? :confused:

They are both 700r4's?

the one i put in may be a4l60e.out of a 91full size van.same tranny but i had to change back housing for the f body stabilizer bar
