I don't know if it will help restore any faded color, but you can protect your leather from further fading with products from Mother's (http://www.mothers.com/products/products.html) or Meguiar's (www.meguiars.com). They're about the best in the business.

hey why don't you just get a steering wheel cover?
i have a black slip cover type thing, it's real plain and
simple, that way you don't mess the wheel up at all....

i'm afraid it's too late for mothers or any other leather cleaner. i do have the stuff however and use it on my seats. good stuff. i have tan leather and the dash/steering wheel are a tanish brown color. i don't think a black slip on would look good. do they have other colors and where did you get yours and how much

yea, i think they have other colors, i got mine at target,
it was only about 6 bucks. i'm sure you could find a larger
variety of styles and colors on the internet though....
