It looks like a barbedwire scratch. Anythoughts? Can it be wet sanded?

get some color match touch up paint. This area will not be that noticable.

Not sure, but I have a few scratches like that I would like to get rid of. Hopefully someone will know.

I checked with the GM dealer today and he said its a Medium Metallic Pearl Green. He was out of stock on the 5 oz. aresol but said a good paint source could make me a can to match. I got to thinking.....
Hmmm. Maybe I could do my intake cover with whats left :dunno:

PS I do not want to use those dab pens ever agin. They are a mess to sand etc.

Use a scratch removing polish. It might not work tho cz those look pretty deep. If it doesnt then i recommend getting some touch up paint. What do u mean by wet sanding it?

some body work requires wet sanding. Using a fine grit (600-3000) paper that has been soaked overnight in water. Then while you sand you mist the area or use a water source to continually lubricate the paint as you sand. It keeps the sand paper from loading up with paint.

I'm not sure those little touch up tubes are meant to be sanded after using them. I'm talking about the little ones from the dealer with the little brush in them

yeah thats what I mean. Those dab products. I am going to find a small can of the color and do a test sample and see if it matches. (spray a piece of primered metal)
